Leavers July 2007
This week, the following staff are leaving us:
Mr Webb (Year 4) has come to the end of a temporary contract, covering for Mrs Middleton's maternity leave. We're sure he'll be back often, as a supply teacher!
Mrs Farrar (Music) will be leaving us to take up a full time post at St. Patrick's Catholic Primary School, where she has also been working part time.
Mrs Hinchliff (Spanish), whose post was funded by BNDfC; the project has now come to an end. Mrs Hinchliff will continue with her other job, teaching Spanish in a secondary school.
Rashida Hassanali (Community Education Coordinator), whose post was also funded by BNDfC; the project has also come to an end. Family and community learning will continue throughout Burngreave under her direction, as she takes up a new post as Lead Extended School Professional working with The Fir Vale Family of Schools
Miss McNicholas has been working in Year 4 since she became a qualified teacher in May. She will be taking up a full time teaching post in Reading in September. Miss McNicholas was away from school yesterday at her graduation - she got a First Class Degree! Well Done Laura!
Starters September 2007
In September, the following staff are joining us:
Miss Paula Wood will be working in our nursery as an additional Teaching Assistant from September.
Miss Katie Armitage will be working in our nursery as a Teacher from September.
Mrs Callie Dakaj will be working throughout school as a Teaching Assistant from September.
Miss Marie Pritchett will join our teaching team in September for a day per week, she will cover music for us on Wednesdays.
Mrs Annie Winterbottom joins us as a Teaching Assistant in Year 1 with Mrs Biggs
Mrs Lesley Crossland finishes her temporary contract with us this week and begins a permanent contract with us as a Teaching Assistant in Year 1 with Miss Stevenson
Other staff changes
Miss Pitman and Miss Costelloe, our two Reception teachers, are getting married this summer. Miss Pitman will be marrying Mr Coefield and will become Mrs Coefield and Miss Costelloe will be marrying Mr Atkinson but she will be remaining Miss Costelloe in school. We wish them happy weddings, and eternal wedded bliss!
